1. Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone: Ultimate Edition (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Despite its title, I don’t consider this to be an “ultimate edition” of Stone; it’s a definite improvement over the 2002 release, but it could use a commentary and other elements to increase its depth. Still, it’s the best Stone release to date. With a list price of almost $40, it’s a pricey set, but I think it’s worth it for Potter fans. Starring Daniel

2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Though I’m not a part of the Potter cult, I thought the film explained the territory efficiently and entertainingly and accomplished most of its goals.

3. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: Ultimate Edition (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for the DVD, both picture and sound quality seemed very solid. Neither reached demonstration level, but both satisfied nicely. Supplements offered a decent mix of interesting elements. I suspect that most fans will be happy with the prior DVD of Chamber, but Potter die-hards will want to snag the “Ultimate Edition”. At $39.92, it’s not horribly pricey

4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets [4K UHD] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets provides a small improvement over its predecessor, though both remain too long and somewhat lacking in true magic. Chamber offers a little fun and charm but it seems to try too hard to entertain us at times, and it rarely just lets the material breathe on its own. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner,

5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While definitely a flawed and slow-moving film, it offered enough reasonably compelling material to make it acceptably enjoyable.

6. Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone [4K UHD] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As a movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone works reasonably well. I can’t call the flick a classic, but it provides a fair amount of enjoyment for what it does. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. Warner, $41.99, 11/7/2017.

7. Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone [Blu-Ray] (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: In regard to the Blu-ray, it presented erratic but acceptable picture and very good sound but it disappointed terribly when it came to supplements. I’d still recommend Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone to fans or anyone who thinks they might enjoy this kind of light fantasy, as the presentation of the film was pretty good. However, the mediocre quali

8. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets [Blu-Ray] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As for the Blu-ray, picture was a bit inconsistent but usually seemed good, and audio was quite positive. Supplements offered a few good pieces but mostly lacked substance; don’t expect to learn much detail about the film. Nonetheless, the Blu-ray presents the film in a generally positive manner. 9. Cruella [Blu-Ray] (2021)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Perhaps a compelling look at the character’s origins could exist, but Cruella doesn’t bring it to us. Despite a talented cast, the film lacks much to make it especially interesting. Starring Emma Stone, Emma Thompson. Disney, $34.99, 9/21/2021.

10. The Croods: A New Age [4K UHD] (2020)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Can I dislike a movie in which a lead character uses a peanut to substitute for her amputated toe? Nope, and The Croods: A New Age comes with plenty more laughs in other areas as well, all of which make it a wild, winning sequel. Starring Emma Stone, Nicolas Cage. Universal, $44.95, 2/23/2021.
